This is a large textile piece which is made form two lengths of blackout curtain sewn together then painted with emulsion and acrylic. It is appliqued with grey feathers and pink rose petals which are hand stitched on with tiny iridescent beads. There is a reflective heart which glows in the light. The photos where it is glowing have been taken with a flash to demonstrate how the heart will light up when the light catches it in the right way.
